INVERSA STONE BURIERS

Based on the Rotovator concept, the Alpego range of Stone Buriers are equipped with a longer frame, reverse rotation rotor and sorting tines which ensure stones and residue fall to the bottom and fine soil is left on the surface.

When equipped with a Stocks Ag seeder the Inversa becomes a one pass reseeding machine. Ideal for farmers and contractors wanting to get more done in less time.

INVERSA WITH SEEDER

Save time and money with the INVERSA plus seeder

Traditional reseeding typically requires multiple passes with a plough, power harrow, rollers, a harrow and seeder, followed by a final roll to achieve good seed-to-soil contact, resulting in high labour and fuel costs.

By using the Alpego INVERSA, these multiple operations are combined into a single pass, significantly reducing labour requirements and fuel consumption.

INVERSA STONE BURIERS

Create the perfect seed bed on shallow soils

Based on the rotary cultivator design, INVERSA models are equipped with a longer frame, reverse rotation rotor and sorting tines which ensure stones and residue fall to the bottom and fine soil is left on the surface.

Whilst cultivating relatively shallow when used for grassland rejuvenation, the INVERSA leaves the ideal fine tilth on the surface for seed establishment and buries the stones away from the seeding zone.

COUNTER FLANGES

The blades are sandwiched between the welded rotor flange and an additional counter flange, this ensures rigidity and doubles the strength of the assembly allowing machines to work in the most arduous conditions.

Counter flanges are standard on all INVERSA Stone Buriers.

REVERSE ROTATION ROTOR

The reverse rotation rotor has 6 heavy duty blades per flange and adjustable shock absorbing sorting tines ensure fine soil is left on the surface and stones are buried creating the perfect tilth.

GEARBOX & DRIVE

The central transmission is driven by a high precision gearbox with gear change to allow rotor speeds up to 424rpm which can easily be changed to suit the job in hand. The gearbox casing allows excellent oil flow to ensure efficient heat dissipation. Power is transmitted to the rotor via a central gear train

FEATURES & BENEFITS

High Tensile Steel Frame

Constructed with high quality steel, the fully welded frame can withstand the shocks and stresses of working in the most difficult conditions. The frames’ construction reduces the overall weight whilst maintaining operational performance.

Central and Lateral Driveline Seals

The driveline seals used on Alpego rotary cultivators are lubricated by the oil inside the transmission to reduce wear and improve longevity whilst preventing dust and water ingress. The sealing system even allows the machines to be used submerged in paddy fields.

Unique Central-Drive System

The central drive transmission has a number of advantages. Primarily torque loadings are transferred equally to either side of the machine, reducing strains and stresses on the entire driveline, improving reliability and reducing power consumption.

In addition, by having four support bearings for the rotor, rather than two, the opportunity for shaft flex under load is drastically reduced.

Without a transfer casing on one end of the machine, the working widths of Alpego rotovators are equal to their transport width. This means they can run right up against fences and other obstacles in either direction of travel.

Having a centralised drive line also avoids uneven weight distribution left-to-right, helping to ensure a consistent working depth across the width of the machine.

REAR ROLLERS

Choose the roller to suit the soil type.

N.B. Side skids are standard when a rear roller is not specified. Side skids offer extra protection to the rotovators side plates in abrasive conditions.

Packer Roller

Alpego 520mm diameter Packer Rollers are used for all-round versatility in differing conditions. They are fitted with centrally adjustable individual scrapers and a levelling board. The levelling board is mounted to the front of the packer roller preventing multiple adjustments when the cultivator depth is altered.

Cage Roller

The 500mm Cage Roller is ideal for working dry, light to medium soils. The roller controls the cultivator depth and helical horizontal tubes break clods whilst leaving an open surface.

INVERSA STONE BURIER MODELS
